PHP version and web server
Which PHP versions ship with the panel, and NGINX versus Apache.
The runtimes that ship with the panel are PHP 8.2, 8.3 and 8.4, each on NGINX or Apache. Admins, resellers and clients can switch the runtime for an account.
Choose Apache when the site uses .htaccess. NGINX does not read those files. A cPanel import of a typical PHP site should use Apache for that reason.
An administrator can add another image and enable it after the server has pulled it. Only 8.2, 8.3 and 8.4 are provided as the standard set.
The admin console can scan accounts for outdated PHP and Adminer images and update the ones you choose.
