VPN for customers

Give an account a VPN peer when the plan allows it.

When the plan allows VPN, the account can have peers for:

  • WireGuard, as a split tunnel or a full tunnel, shown as a QR code or a config file
  • OpenVPN, as an .ovpn file
  • L2TP/IPsec
  • IKEv2

The plan can cap how many VPN users the account has, and how much VPN bandwidth they use in a month. The portal warns at 80% and at 95% of that cap.

The usual ports are 51820/udp for WireGuard, 1194/udp and 1195/tcp for OpenVPN, and 500, 4500 and 1701/udp for IPsec and L2TP. Those ports are published when VPN is applied for the server.
